Project 1 – 200 Copies of 40 Hadeeth Workbook for a New Jersey State Prison

On November 1, 2020 we launched our first cooperative project with Bakkah Publications to get 200 copies of   the 40 Hadeeth Workbook into a state prison in New Jersey for free distribution to the Muslim inmates there. This was arranged through a special wholesale rate, and so we set up a plan to raise $2,400 to purchase the books and have them shipped to the facility. The books would be used for a new class offered there. We solicited support from you on Twitter. We used PayPal Money Pool to facilitate the funding of this project and received a very favorable response, maa shaa Allah.

By the next day, we exceeded our goal with $2,520 collected from 31 contributors within 24 hours, Walhamdulilāh!

Since the initial target was $2,400, the extra $120 was used to start the next fundraiser.
