Project 7 – 227 Books for Muslim Inmates in a Pennsylvania Prison

For this project, we needed $2,391 to purchase 227 copies of Hikmah Publications’ “A Comprehensive Guide For The New Muslim” at a wholesale rate for free distribution to the Muslim Inmates of a Pennsylvania prison. This book was written by Ustaadh Anwar Wright and is very suitable for new Muslims as it teaches the fundamental beliefs of a Muslim in a very concise and easy to understand manner.

We kickstarted our fundraiser on January 11, 2021 through our PayPalMoneyPool and Twitter.

We received strong support, with many people donating generously towards the fundraiser Allahuma Baarik. On January 13, 2021, by Allah’s permission, we exceeded the amount we needed to raise walhamdulilāh.

The extra $50 goes towards our next pool in shaa Allah. Please continue to support our projects. Jazaakum Allahu Khayr!
