What the inmates can expect with Ramadhaan Workbook, Vol.5

The Ramadhaan Lessons from the Noble Quran and Authentic Sunnah, Volume 5 is the latest workbook published by Bakkah Publications and it is the book that we chose to send to the Muslim inmates in a Pennsylvania prison. Similar to our last Ramadhaan project 1442 , the inmates will have the opportunity to listen to the recordings and follow along with their workbooks in shaa Allah.

This year, the inmates can benefit from studying Soorah Ghaafir and the lessons and benefits derived from it such as patience in the face of oppression, perseverance during trials and placing one’s trust in Allah.

Let’s take a quick look at the table of contents shown below:

Table of Contents – taken from https://www.bakkah.net/en/feature-ramadhaan-lessons-1443-volume-5.htm

Tafseer Lessons

A translation of each verse of Soorah Ghaafir is provided along with a commentary from As-Sa’dee and Al-Baghawee (may Allah have mercy on them both).

Hadeeth Study

The inmates will have the opportunity to study hadeeth narrations that are relevant to the verse(s) being studied that day and they can expect to learn about the biography of the narrators and collectors of each hadeeth.

There are helpful illustrations to show connections with certain sections from previous workbooks. This is great as these inmates were afforded the same special opportunity last Ramadhaan to listen in to the recordings and study along with others in different parts of the world.

There is also a quiz section where the inmates can test themselves on what they have learnt once the book has been completed.

It is our hope that these workbooks will help the inmates to stay focused and engaged during the month of Ramadhaan in shaa Allah.
